Kiddycare is not just a nursery, we are a family!
As an Investors in People company, we have demonstrated we are a good employer, and this is important to us because our nurseries are not just our facilities, they are filled with the people who look after your children.
Kiddycare Nurseries are a real home from home, run by dedicated teams of qualified staff. We can offer your child a stable, loving environment as many of our staff are parents themselves and moreover, many of them have been with our company for 10 years or more. Some of our senior managers have been at Kiddycare for over 20 years!
We come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, reflecting our local communities and bringing richness and diversity to us all. It also means that the locally spoken languages are well represented in our nurseries and hold high respect for your family’s beliefs and practices.
Our staff stay with us because we value their skills and help them to develop further personally and professionally. We believe in employing apprentices and some have gone on to become nursery managers, deputies and Early Years Professionals with degrees.
Through providing continuous training, motivation and support for all our staff, all our nurseries have teams of highly qualified and dedicated professionals, who deliver outstanding levels of care and education.
Qualifications & Checks
We have Early Years Professionals (EYPs), qualified early years teachers, holders of Early Years Foundation degrees and qualifications at Levels 4, 5 and 6. All other team members are qualified to a minimum of Level 3. Kiddycare nurseries staff are also trained in first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, safeguarding, behaviour management and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
All Kiddycare staff, including students, are DBS-checked (it used to be called a CRB check), and we constantly monitor our safeguarding procedures to ensure all our children are safe.
