Healthy Balanced Eating

Our aim is to encourage good eating habits in children that will last them a lifetime, and we are happy to work with parents to achieve this. A nutritious diet is fuel for active children, and so, we plan our meals and snacks carefully, using healthy ingredients and making sure they have eye and taste appeal. 

Our mealtimes have a family atmosphere where the children can develop social skills whilst enjoying the different colours, taste and textures of their food. We always consider religious beliefs and prepare special meals for children with allergies and food intolerances.

Drinks and fruit are available in the rooms throughout the day, and salad as hand-held food is available at every mealtime.

Hygiene Habits

We help the children develop good habits, including washing their hands before eating and brushing their teeth. It’s never too early to learn, and once the babies can sit up, they practice brushing their teeth.

All the children have a toothbrush and we help them all use it properly.
